Formerly a coffee plantation, this secluded Puerto Rican retreat is set in a valley of 107 lush tropical acres. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, on-site restaurant and fully equipped yoga studio. The rooms are located in 5 wooden buildings along the mountainside at Casa Grande Mountain Retreat. Each tropical room includes a private bathroom with shower and a balcony with a hammock. Guests can enjoy traditional Puerto Rican cuisine at Casa Grande Cafe for breakfast or dinner. The cafe offers seating inside or outside on the patio with view of the mountain and pool. Vegetarian options are also available. Along with yoga classes, Casa Grande offers massage and reflexology services. Hiking and birdwatching are available on site. Caguana Indian Ceremonial Park, Arecibo Observatory and Camuy River Cave Park are within a 1-hour drive and parking is free.
